Madeleine Hyland

Madeleine Hyland was raised in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Manchester, and New Zealand. She is an actress, singer, and writer, known for singing on Dexys album and worldwide tour ‘One Day I’m Going to Soar’ as captured in the Heavenly Films documentary/concert film ‘Nowhere is Home’ and on BBC’s ‘Later…with Jools Holland’ (episode 40.5 and Hootenanny 2013).

She has appeared in numerous theatre productions across the UK, including the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Olivier and Tony award-winning ‘Wolf Hall’ and ‘Bring Up the Bodies’, which played the West End and Broadway, and The Factory’s productions of ‘Hamlet’, ‘The Seagull’ and ‘The Odyssey’.

Her band The Amazing Devil released their debut album ‘Love Run’ in 2016. Their new album, The Horror and the Wild, will be released in February 2020. She lives in London, UK.
