Seya Hug, born November 19, 1994, grew up around the spotlight – as the son of K1 martial arts superstar Andy Hug, and renowned Swiss sculptor and art-designer Ilona Hug. Seya’s interests, however, were in a different art – acting.
In order to further his passion, Seya began taking acting classes while simultaneously attending the prestigious Zürich International School.
Upon his high school graduation, he immediately traveled to Los Angeles, where he began studying economics at Loyola Marymount University and training with various acting coaches.
In less than a year Seya landed the lead role in “Shiner” – as an aspiring MMA fighter, struggling against all odds to begin a career.
After 2 years, he decided that economics wasn’t for him, leaving LMU in order fully commit to acting.
Seya then completed his 2 Year Conservatory Program at the Lee Strasberg Institute in West Hollywood.
Seya speaks English, German, Swiss German, French, and Italian. He has a Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and has trained as a boxer with the best in Europe
