Kevin McClatchy

Born in Los Gatos, California, Kevin grew up in Havertown, Pennsylvania. He attended Washington and Lee University, where he majored in Journalism and was captain of the basketball team. After working for a sports marketing firm in Philadelphia, he quit his job and moved to New York to study acting. He studied with Wynn Handman and Greg Zittel. Kevin found work in New York on stage and in front of the camera before moving to Los Angeles. In 2009, he enrolled in the MFA Acting program at The Ohio State University. Over the following three years, he was consistently involved in the university’s partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company, which culminated in premiering Kelly Hunter’s adaptation of The Tempest at the RSC in 2014. In 2013 Kevin joined the faculty of the OSU Department of Theatre. Since 2015 he has been the director of the Shakespeare and Autism Project. Kevin is also the Head of Acting and Directing at OSU. He regularly returns to theater, film and television. He and his wife Lisa have a daughter, Eirann, and a son, Kavanagh.
