Joan S., also simply known as Joan, is an actor, director, writer and musician, known for their work on Sanders Sides (2016), Cartoon Therapy (2017), and other productions of their long time friend Thomas Sanders, both on Sanders’ series, in front of or behind the camera, and composing many of his songs, like the singles “The Things We Used to Share” or “On the Borderline” among others. They are mainly a director and editor in the Sanders Sides series, but frequently appear in other series on Thomas Sanders (2013) and Thomas Sanders & Friends (2018), such as Voices of Unreason, Awkward Adventures (2017), and Ask the Experts. Joan is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
